I joined the Young Nats: In 2002 when I was a loud-mouthed high school student
I couldn’t live without: The Internet, songs by Frank Sinatra/Chad Morgan and the occasional Gold (I’d don’t think I’d survive south of Coolangatta).
Politics is: Something that people take more seriously than what they claim to…I’ve often found this out the hard way.
The person/s influenced my life so far: Politicly, the late and great Sir Joh, Senator Ron Boswell, Liberal Cameron Thompson and Cr Keith Campbell.
Something I’ll never forget: To stay on the stage and answer questions during my next preselection and not simply walk off…very embarrassing!
I get angry: When its hot and no matter how hard I try I never get everything I want done.
The best piece of advice I’ve been given: Great Leaders know where their reverse gear is
Work is: Something that if you are not used to then don’t aspire to be the State President of the Queensland Young Nationals.
When I get around to it: I want to go over to Germany and have a look around where the family originally came from.
My family: Are an interesting bunch as most are all varying conservatives and then of course I have the Labor “faction”…very interesting family get togethers!
I’ve always wished: To be more articulate, sing like Chad Morgan and to look like JFK (I don’t think I am going to achieve any).
The Nationals: Are to me the only party that is truly capable of representing all Australians, all the way from the Blue collar to the White collar and we do it well.
In ten years time: Hope to be doing something to help the under privileged and those in poverty in our society…Dairy Farmers.
